# daGama app User Guide ### **Check-In** Start your daGama journey with a Check-In! This is your first step toward creating unique content and validating your experiences. Before you proceed, make sure to review the [daGama Community Guidelines](https://www.dagama.world/dagama-community-guidelines) to ensure your contributions meet our standards. #### **How to Create a Check-In:** 1. Sign up in the daGama app. 2. Be physically present at the location you want to mark. 3. Open the creation menu and tap **"Create Check-In."** \[Screenshot] 4. Fill in the details: * Add a name for your Check-In. * Adjust the location if needed. 5. Save your Check-In. Your Check-In will appear under **"Discoveries"** If the location is unique, you’ll become its **Pioneer**, unlocking exclusive rewards. Recommendations allow you to showcase your best finds! Please review the [daGama Community Guidelines](https://www.dagama.world/dagama-community-guidelines) before sharing your recommendations. #### **What Are Recommendations?** Recommendations let you share both positive and constructive feedback about places. They can be: * **Verified Recommendations:** Created with a Check-In. * **Unverified Recommendations:** Added without a Check-In and require community verification. #### **How to Create a Verified Recommendation:** 1. Sign up in the daGama app. 2. Create a Check-In for the location. 3. Open the menu and select **"Share Impressions"**. 4. Choose a Check-In: * **Existing location:** Use a Check-In with a photo cover. * **New location:** A Check-In without a cover shows you’re the Pioneer. 5. Complete the details: * Add the name and address. * Select up to 3 categories. * Upload media (at least 3 photos/videos; up to 300 MB). * Write a description (50–2,000 characters). 6. You’ve become a **Pioneer** and opened a new location for the community. #### **How to Create an Unverified Recommendation:** 1. Sign up in the daGama app. 2. Open the menu and select **"Share Impressions."** 3. Select **"Add Recommendation Without Check-In"** from the menu. 4. Provide: * Name and address of the place. * Category. * Date of visit. * Media upload. * Description (50–2,000 characters). 5. Sign up in the daGama app. 2. Create a Check-In for the location. 3. Open the menu and select **"Share Impressions."** \[Screenshot] 4. Choose the option to leave Negative Feedback. 5. Complete the form: * Name and address of the place. * Category. * Media upload. * Detailed description (50–2,000 characters). 6.
